Yes, all of our products are safe for children and pets.
That’s a complicated question. The process we use to treat a pet urine spot is dependent on the type of spot it is. Is it a puddle? Is it sprayed? Or is it extensive dripping? Has the spot migrated into the carpet pad? A combination of cleaning solutions may be used to clean the spot once these questions have been answered. We also have products to sanitize and deodorize the spot after it’s been thoroughly cleaned.
We just cannot guarantee that the smell and stain will be completely removed. There are times when the pet urine may have soaked through the carpet, through the pad and into the floorboards. The only way to remedy that situation is to pull the carpet back, replace the padding, and paint the floor with a product that will cover up the stain and the smell.
To keep your carpet and upholstery looking its best between cleanings, you can have a protector applied by Bluegreen. This specially formulated product helps carpet and upholstery resist soiling from dry dirt, water and oil-based spills. When you have our protection barrier applied, you will have more time to clean up spots and spills before they soak into the fibers. In addition, it makes vacuuming easier and will prolong the life of your carpet.
We offer two choices for our clients.
