Our Story
In a world dominated by “takers”, I fundamentally believe that people whom have been given more opportunity and have more resources should be the greatest “givers” in our great country. Giving has been a significant part of my life since the day I started making money.
Growing up very poor, I remember in High school having to go into the grocery store and paying for food with the paper food stamps. This felt humiliating to me and I decided that day that I would work hard to live life on the “giving” end.
Fast forward (many years), I have had the fortune of owning a company that can help many families in need.
In 2007, my wife and I welcomed our second beautiful daughter Eden into the world with joy and happiness. Within a few months, we knew something was wrong and she was eventually diagnosed with a unique chromosome disorder, forever altering our “typical” family course.
Having a child with special needs can be immensely consuming for families and in some cases, very messy! Owning a carpet cleaning company with emergency service has definitely “saved” our carpets from many accidents.
Knowing how much this has benefited our family, as an organization, we decided to launch our Bluegreen Cares program.
Each month, a family dealing with a child with severe special needs is awarded a $300 carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning credit.
